The Mai Tai Mindset
“Mai Tai” means “the best” in Tahitian and points to traditional Tiki values of hope, healing, and humankind, brought to life through art, music, food, and community – in other words, creativity, connection, and wisdom are pillars of strength.
“Mindset” is a set of beliefs that shape how one makes sense of the world, others, and themselves. It influences how one thinks, feels, and behaves in any given situation. Essentially, how one thinks about themselves so shall they, and their worlds be. Individuals who cultivate a growth mindset perceive challenges as opportunities for learning and growth, leading to greater resilience and achievement.
“Mai Tai Mindset”, therefore, is a holistic approach to living one’s best life guided by a clear set of values and intentions that influence success, failure, resiliency, and sense of fulfillment. It is a way of life that honours the past, celebrates the present, and invites the future. Most importantly, it embraces the power of positive connection with others to activate one’s passions, hopes, dreams, and ultimately, faith in self and others.
